ISO the one where Xander is working on rebuilding Sunnydale after an earthquake (or the end of S7 - can't remember) and he finds Spike in a (I think) church they're excavating.

Also remember nests of pillows and blankets being a bit of a running theme but not sure if that's the same fic?

ISO the one where Xander and spike are together and Xander is working construction. The scoobies forget his birthday, but his work friends take him out. I think the friends are in the know about Sunnydale, and the bartender is a demon?

Looking for the one where all the kids from graduation called Xander The General. I believe there is a situation where one of the kids from high school teaches the rest of them how to make pipe bombs for a rescue attempt. It either deals with the initiative in a parking garage or a dragon in a field. I might be mixing up a bunch of different stories but I know that Xander was called The General
