Abandoned??

I hope this is ok. I was just going over my list of Spander WIPs that I'm following and I realized a few things like:

1) the lj of fitz_fool who was writing "Tothing and Turning" appears to have been abandoned.

2) pixel2817 who was writing Just Another Game hasn't updated her lj since last December

3) denied_heaven who was writing Thrice Damned hasn't updated her lj since last March

I've (grudgingly) learned not to be (too) upset if  authors don't finish their WIPs but these authors appear to have gafiated from fandom altogether. Does anyone know what's up with them?
