So, I'm working on my first BtVS story, (either Spander or X/S/A, not sure yet) and I have most of the major plot points worked out, I am just not sure how to put them together...
As readers, when you read a future-fic AU do you prefer to get the intervening time at the beginning of the story or as flashbacks?
Hi! I need to find a fic; I've looked everywhere for it. K, so on to the fic!
Xander was An Immortal (notice the Caps). He was bitten and... kinda turned by Spike? I think his body was found and he was given a funeral before Buffy staked him. Giles called someone to train Xander as an immy.
After that Xander was sorta connected to Spike, like his Childe. Later on he ends up as a Marquis on Voyager. Spike finds him no matter where he goes. That's all I remember; help?
I'm looking for a short story where Spike is chipped, I think, but
He's working with the Scoobies, but he's letting them get killed one
by one during fights without them realising it because he wants
Xander all to himself.
The last person to die is Giles, during a fight in a graveyard, as
he's dying he asks Spike to take care of Xander who is just about
broken by the loss of his 'family' and Spike naturally agrees, Giles
dies without realising that this is what Spike has had planned all
Spike hugs/holds Xander and Xander's crying and saying he has nothing
and no one left and Spike tells Xander that he is his now and he'll
look after him.
It's very dark with evil spike :) and I'd like to read it again if
anyone knows where it's at.
I read a fic a long, long time ago where Anya had taken off on Xander, and he and Spike, who might have been living together, started fooling around. But then Anya comes back and wants to try again, and Xander goes with it. Only he still wants Spike. There was something about a concert and fooling around in a hotel room (I think after the big Xander/Anya reunion), and though I don't think that it was completed, the point I was at had Xander deciding that he wanted Spike, and that he was going to break things off with Anya. As I said I read it a long time ago, but any help in finding this would be much appreciated.
