It doesn't take place until season 7 but it is the episode where he looses his eye and Caleb calls him the one that sees. Hope this helps.

In season 3 "Love Hurts", Xander gets hit in the head with a microscope by Spike.
In season 4 "Pangs", Xander gets Magical Syphillus.
At the end of season 6, Xander gets cut alot by Willow's magic.
In season 7 "First Date", Xander gets stabbed in the tummy by Aliya.
In season 7 "Dirty Girls", Xander gets his eye poked out by Caleb.

We love to see our boy in pain :D
Some good Xander-centric episodes are "The Zeppo" in season three and "The Pack" in season one, and even though it's not just about Xander, "The Wish" in season three is also really good.

Actually, the Season 3 episode is called "Lovers Walk"

Another good Xander episode is S5's "The Replacement".

Nobody's mentioned "The Pack" from season 1. That was the episode that hooked me on the series. When Xander turns bad - at least for a little while. Tied with "The Zeppo", season 3, for favorite Xander ep.

umm I think you might have those mixed up. School Hard is another fav of mine. Angel gives Xan to Spike as a ruse when Spike attavcks the school. *bg*

About that episode The Replacement. Nicholas Brendan's identical twin brother plays one of the Xanders when they are together. Otherwise, it's just Nick playing both roles (I think). They looked really, really, alike at that time, though I think they've changed slightly by now. I do know that during the off season Nick would grow a beard and his brother would get all the fans thinking he was Xander. Hee hee.
