Xander stood up straight and took in a deep inhaling
breath through his nose. He was instantly, overwhelmingly
assaulted by the smells of a thousand different and exciting new
Xander was stunned and completely conflicted.
He knew he should try and concentrate on only his sire's scent.
He should ignore all those other tantalizing possibilities.
He should..............um, maybe just a quick peek.
"NO! NO! NO!"
Xander immediately checked himself. He knew sire was counting
on him to prove himself. Sire had said he was a strong vampire
and he would prove sire right.
Failure was not an option!
Remembering sire's last order "Don't get distracted" Xander cleared
his mind, relaxed his body, and took another deep breath.
There it was! Sire!
Xander's head and attention snapped to the left. He knew with
certainty that was the way to go. With no hesitation, Xander
sprinted off down the walkway that he only briefly noted to be
a yellow brick road.
Dashing down the path and away from the wall, Xander was thrilled.
He had never know such a sense of freedom and wild
abandon. He felt his demon break free from the confines
of the spirit that had accompanied him into the afterlife.
He followed only the single scent that called to him.
He trusted his instincts and he felt his cock harden with the
knowledge of his power.
He was the predator. Sire was prey.
He was sharp as a tack, bright as a 200 watt bulb, hot as a barn fire.
Xander's enhanced eyesight caught movement out of the corner of his eye
and he snarled. Slowing to a stop, he was now on what had become
a dirt path that twisted and led through an open field of high grass
and low trees, intersperced with areas of sandy desert.
'Huh.' Xander thought 'Wonder when that happened.'
He ducked behind a tree to take stock of where he was.
Carefully hidden, Xander eased his head around the thick trunk of the
maple tree that concealed him. Lumbering toward him he could see the
shadow of a huge, four legged creature of enormous size.
He sniffed, it's scent powerful and pungent in the air, it was strange and
unfamiliar, yet didn't seem threatening. Easing himself out, Xander
squinted his eyes and finally, as the animal got close enough, he
got a clear impression.
From descriptions in the bible and memories of his beloved poster,
Forgetting everything, Xander cautiously approached the seemingly
complacent, and tamed monster. It showed no fear as the vampire
childe crept up to it, cautiously, cooing and speaking low.
"Easy big guy. Eeeeasy. I just want to pet you."
Stepping up beside him Xander slowly reached out his hand and gingerly
touched the rough, wiry hair. Moving up against him, Xander was thrilled
with the seeming willingness of the camel to be petted and touched.
He ran his hands over the odd, mysterious bumps on it's back.
Xander chuckled, surely God had had a sense of humor when he
That was when it struck him. If the camel looked this bizarre and exotic,
how must it taste? Would it be so wrong to have a little nip? Would
a skin so tough even feel it if he slipped a quick fang in?
Much as he tried to dismiss and ignore the thought, it quickly became
an obsession. He walked the length of the animal caressing it's warmth
with his hand, around the rear and up the other side.
He experty ducked and dogged it's swishing tail
Then, in the blink of an eye, using all his vampire speed and agility,
Xander threw his arm around the Camel's neck and sank his teeth in.
Almost immediately he realized he had made a serious error in judgement.
Not only was the taste of the blood dank, bitter, and altogether
stomach churning, he was soon to find the beast not quite as tame
as he first thought.
The camel, who seemed to take great offense at the prospect of
being eaten, reared back in self defense, throwing it's head high in the air.
It honked and bellowed it's outrage.
Xander, with his teeth deeply embedded and stuck, was lifted
off the ground and left struggling to free himself and get his feet
back on tera firma.
Honking and roaring in it's attempt to dislodge the painful preditor,
the vampire's victim turned and began lumbering through the high
grass of the natural plain, flinging both his head and attached attacker
from side to side like a rag doll.
Xander flailed desperatly, trying to get a solid grip on the animal that
bounced roughly as it ran. With fistfulls of hair in his right hand he began
beating his fist on the top of the camels' head as he pulled and tried
to free his razor sharp fangs. Unfortunatly, the more he pulled the
more painful it became resulting in even more distress by the hump
Finally with one last full strength jerk, Xander was able to free his
teeth from the rubbery, oily feeling skin of the furiously offended
creature. Then, as quickly as it had begun, the charging struggling
of the camel stopped when the pain did.
With one last flip of the camel's head Xander lost his grip on the pubic like
hair and he tumbled ungracefully to the ground directly in front
of the now calm, and peaceful pet.
Xander laid still on the dusty earth like a lump. He took a quick a
inventory of his aching body to make sure nothing was permantly
Fangs - slightly loose, but both still there.
Head bump - oh, that was from earlier.
Sore butt - no broken cheeks.
Hard on - long gone and forgotten.
Looking up into the face of the curious creature, Xander noted
his slow jaw rolling, chewing and had only a second to wonder what
the heck he had had time to eat.
In the very instant the words cow and cud came to mind, Xander
scrambled up, attempting to find his feet, and escape but was,
unfortunatly, a flash too late. With one big whing the camel conjured
up a mouth full of green grey, slimy, snotty mucus which he spit
with flawless accuracy in Xander's face.
"Oh Man! That was just wrong! UGH!"
Xander rolled away from the animal that now appeared to have totally
forgotten about him. He jumped up and staggered back to the clump
of trees where he proceeded to try to clean himself up with a handful
When as much of the glue like substance was scraped off as possible he
tossed the folage to the ground and took stock of the situation.
Unfortunatly he knew exactly where he had gone wrong.
He knew he had let himself become distracted, but resolved to waste
no time on recrimination.
"Learn from your screw ups and roll on." Sire would say.
He was back on track.
He was a man on a mission.
He sniffed the air and, with a huge grin on his face, rubbed
his sore ass and sprinted off.
