You know they're doin' it
James Marsters: FYI
3rd-Sep-2007 11:29 pm
Hey everyone, i know this is a bit out of left field, but I thought that some other Spike fans might be as excited as I am about this little tidbit, so i just HAD to tell ya'll.

Marsters is lending his voice (although unlikely with the pretty accent) to a classic! The straight-to-DVD movie of "Superman: Doomsday" has our favorite Big Bad doing the voice of Lex Luthor. The DVD comes out in the US on September 17th according to IMDB. And as a bonus for other Joss Whedon fans, The voice for Superman is Firefly's Adam Baldwin (Jayne Cobb). Not to mention the movie itself is about the death of Superman, so it is guaranteed to be an edge-of-your-seat show.

Does anyone else think it is funny that he is voicing the Biggest of Bads, and that character's name is Alexander? (if this post is too OOC for the community, I'll be happy to take the post down, mods)

Technically, it is off-topic, but I tend to let posts about what our boys are doing now slide through the cracks because I find them interesting and they can get people talking.

Thanks for the info! :D

They made issue #75 a movie! Well, dang, not sure how I feel about that. But you're right I am pretty excited to know that James will be in on the project. It's fun to see one of my favorite actors crossing genres as it were. (NO Smallville does NOT count)

There is a strong rumor that I've read on line and can't find the article now that James Marsters will be on "Without a Trace" in the fall with a recurring role that is expected to be very often.
