happyI'm looking for a short story where Spike is chipped, I think, but
still plotting.
He's working with the Scoobies, but he's letting them get killed one
by one during fights without them realising it because he wants
Xander all to himself.
The last person to die is Giles, during a fight in a graveyard, as
he's dying he asks Spike to take care of Xander who is just about
broken by the loss of his 'family' and Spike naturally agrees, Giles
dies without realising that this is what Spike has had planned all
along.
Spike hugs/holds Xander and Xander's crying and saying he has nothing
and no one left and Spike tells Xander that he is his now and he'll
look after him.
It's very dark with evil spike :) and I'd like to read it again if
anyone knows where it's at.
