5 pm Thursday afternoon.
Xander Harris has 1 1/2 days left to live.
Spike stretched out on the couch and watched Xander fuss around
the tiny kitchen. He washed the plates, utensils, and skillet that Spike
used to scramble them up a huge omelet.
It warmed his dead heart to see his boy devour the food, making all
sorts of moans and disturbingly orgasmic groans as he did.
They had turned on the telly, but despite Xander's concession,
Spike turned on the boy's favorite cartoons. Spike seemed
to have lost all interest in the ponies.
It was slow, easy and very relaxing. Nowhere to go and nothing
urgent to do. It was odd. This was exactly the same thing he had
been doing in his crypt not three days ago and the boredom and
pointlessness of it was driving him to consider a short walk in a long
If only time would stop. If only they could stay this way forever.
Spike turned his head away from watching his boy and tried
to concentrate on the coyote's newest acquisition from Acme.
Although facing the brick wall in front of the sink, Xander was very
aware of the vampire's eyes burning a hole in the back of his head.
He knew if he lived to be a thousand he would never figure Spike out.
He was a puzzle wrapped around a paradox.
Xander had often wondered what it must be like to have all the time
in the world at your finger tips. Go anywhere and see everything. The
pyramids one year and the Scottish fields of heather the next.
"Why don't you Spike?"
Spike tore his eyes off the falling bowling ball just before it smashed the
coyote on the top of the head.
"What? Why don't I what? What the fuck you going on about?"
"Travel. See the world. You could go anywhere and live any kind
of adventure, but you stay here. Why is that? Is it Buffy? Are
you in love with her Spike?"
Xander had shocked them both with the last question. Although
it had been creeping around his brain on tip toes, he had certainly never
meant to give it voice. Now he gripped the rim of the sink and waited
for an answer he never wanted to hear.
Spike snorted at the absurdity of it. Still, if you had ask him that a week
ago he probably would have said yes. He most likely wouldn't have
meant it but out of lack of any other answer, he would have responded
in the affirmative.
Now, he could hardly recall her face. He did know one thing, though,
when all this was over and done with, he would have to go. There was
no way he could look any of them in the eye. The pure injustice of the fact
that they were still alive when the best of them was gone would be more
than he could bare.
Xander sighed. The lack of answer, the time it was taking Spike to think
up an answer, screamed volumes. Even though he had suspected it,
the confirmation was upsetting.
He cursed himself for asking and returned to his dishes.
Lost in his own revelations, Spike hadn't noticed Xander's response
to the time it was taking for him to answer.
"No. I know you all think I fancy her but it's just a bit of flirting, it is.
Don't mean a thing. No, I like something more solid in my bed.
Someone that has a certain dangly bit that I can tease and tug till it
don't dangle down anymore. You wouldn't know anyone like that
would you, Pet? Someone you could call and set me up with?"
Xander flew across the small room and leaped onto the vampire's lap.
His joy and sense or relief was overwhelming.
"I know exactly who you can call. Ringy ringy."
Xander held his thumb up to his ear and his pinky to his lips.
"Hello? Booty call take away service. Why yes, I do have a
dangle down and would be more than happy to deliver it to you.
When did you want that delivery? Now? Now would be perfect."
Xander hopped off, dropped his boxers to his ankles and kicked him
away. He then climbed back on. Despite being substantially larger,
his sitting on the vampires lap felt very natural to both men and he
squiggled his butt, getting comfortable.
With his knees on either side of Spike's legs, Xander faced his vampire
and kissed his laughing lips. Spike took Xander's face in his hands and
returned the kiss with one of his own. This one was more possessive,
driven, and left Xander breathless, glazed.
"You're a cheeky little bastard, you know that don't you?"
Xander nodded but his eyes never left the soft pink lips. Xander had
always wondered exactly what was required to gain the title of master
vampire, but now he was certain it had something to do with an expert
ability to kiss like nobody's business.
"It's only, um," Xander turned his upper body to see the clock on the wall.
"5 O'clock. We have at least an hour till the sun goes down. Maybe we
could, um, you know."
Spike smirked at the new found confidence of the young man with the
very hard cock.
He ran his hands up and down the warm, tan torso, feeling the slight
outline of his ribs. Slowly sliding his palms around to Xander's back,
Spike could feel the muscles in his boy's spine flex and release in
the wake of the vampire's cool touch.
"No, I don't know. What is it you want to do Xander? Do you
want to jerk off while I watch? Do you want to suck my cock and
taste my spunk? Or maybe you want me to suck on you.
Lick you with my tongue, tease your slit, wrap my lips around your
balls and feel them draw up tight till you cum down my throat like
you did to that man last night. You tell me, Xander. What do you want?"
He looked deep into the clear blue eyes. They drew him in and
held him in a hypnotic haze. He knew with absolute certainty that
these eyes could thrall and hold a human with little or no effort.
He also knew Spike would not do that to him. Spike wanted Xander
to come to him freely. Spike, selfish bastard that he was, wanted to
It was a startling revelation that empowered the human and encouraged
him to put into words exactly what was in his mind and his heart.
The silence boomed through the room. It screamed louder than the
sound of a thousand voices singing gospel songs in a Southern Baptist
Church on Sunday morning.
He watched his boy's eyes and the nervous twitch in his jaw.
He smiled, wondering what sort of boyish fantasies were bubbling
and trying to spill over and out of his mouth.
He knew one thing, Xander had a darker side. One his mates could
never suspect and, under oath, would swear against. It wasn't an evil
dark side but an adventurous one.
The boy craved.
He yearned to experience new things. See things. Go places.
His body may remain in Sunnydale, but his mind and heart went
Spike knew whatever his boy wanted, he would do.
Whatever little experiment, position or technique he could conceive,
Spike would indulge.
Spike had heard once that you have two ways to end your life.
Your last words could be, "I wish I had............."
Or they could be "Remember when I.............."
Spike promised himself that the boy's would be the latter.
Whatever the boy wanted. Done.
Xander took a deep breath. This was it. If his time with Spike was
limited, he was going to make the most of it. Besides, what is
the worst that could happen? Spike would say no. If that happened
he wouldn't be any worse off than he was right now.
Besides, even if Spike refused to give him what he wanted most
he could still get a blow job out of the vampire. It was a
win win situation.
"I want it all. I want you to fuck me, bite me and claim me, whatever
that means. I want it all Spike and I want it with you."
This time it was Spike's turn to hyperventilate.
