Being a klutz

Sorry for messing up the 'click here' thingie to my fic! I don't post that often and it takes me forever to get it right. Can I ask - if I post to my lj site and add the posting to my memories, do I then just copy the memories address and paste it to the lj-cut thus enabling me to post that to Bloodclaim?
See, very inexperienced, but not too proud to ask for help. I would be grateful for any.
