Summary: This story is the follow up to Happy Birthday. It answers the
question so many people had about what the girls would think when they
realize that their fake gift brought Spike and Xander together.
Happy Birthday can be found here:
Willow and Buffy are feeling guilty about their fake gift and are concerned
they haven't heard from Xander in days. When they check on him, they
find him with Spike. In shock, they decide to do a real spell to give their
friend his hearts desire, hoping to show him how happy he would be without
Warning: This story is a pointless, spornographic bit of fantasy, fluff and
sex. The author does NOT endorse the bizarre sexual techniques or
situations this story contains. (O.k., some of them are......never mind)
As always, full credit to the talented Petxnd who puts wonderful visuals to my
words and brings the story alive.
Authors notes and posting information:
This story does not follow the Bee's usual form of organization. Some chapters
are short, some are oddly long. There is no real plot or story line other than a
vampire and his human trying to stumble their way through a series of fantasy
wishes that they have been thrust in to.
Posting will, of course, be daily till complete. Hope you enjoy and find a
chuckle here and there.
So, with no further delay - here we go
"Ow, dang, Willow! Quit dragging me."
Willow's grip on Buffy's arm never lessened as the two hurried down the
street toward the seedier side of town where Xander had settled into his
'bachelor pad' as he proudly called it.
Willow had no time for sympathy.
"Come on! Try to keep up. Why did you insist on wearing those ridiculous
three inch heels anyway?"
The two turned the corner and past The Cut Up. It was a demon bar that
Buffy refused to bust due to the odor of the men's room and the cockroach
population. Holding their noses, the girls scampered by.
"I wear them because they make my calves look fab. Flats are o.k
especially little strappy ones but they kind of give my legs a cankle look,
and besides, these go so well with the pink fuzzy sweater that you are now
in the process of stretching the hell out of."
Buffy tried swatting Willow's hand away, but Willow held on. Trying another
approach, Buffy whined, hoping to reason with the redhead.
"Slow down! I don't see why we have come to this part of town anyway."
Willow finally slowed her relentless pace. Guilt had been the driving force
that had sent her rushing out today and she wouldn't feel better till this
little misunderstanding was resolved.
"You know darn well why we are here. Neither of us has heard from Xander
since Friday night. This is Sunday evening. That's two whole days. I've
tried to call him but he won't answer. I think we hurt his feelings over his
Buffy did her best to look sheepish.
"You think he figured out how you tricked him?"
"ME? Hey, you went along with it. The gift was from both of us."
"Yeah, but there wasn't any gift was there?"
"Well, no, especially not if he wished for something dangerous. I mean
it wouldn't have worked anyway but since he didn't know that, we can
almost consider the whole debacle his fault."
Buffy scratched her head. Willow had the ability to make a simple situation
so complicated that it became impossible to unravel.
The women's pace had now slowed considerably now and they were
only one block from where their friend lived when Buffy asked quietly.
" So, what do you think he wished for?"
Willow looked thoughtful and tried to consider what kind of things Xander
"Well, when you think about it, he doesn't have anything so the possibilities
are unlimited. Course since he didn't get any of it, I suppose it doesn't matter.
Why, what do you think he wanted?"
Buffy sighed and fluffed her hair.
"He probably wished for the one thing every man on the face of the earth
wishes for. Me. Let's be honest, Willow. I am what they all want. I'm cute,
perky, blond, and I have the one characteristic all men dream of."
Willow stopped walking and frowned.
"No gag reflex."
