Okay, this search is sort of vague, but I remember that Spike was following Xander home and he noticed that the closer Xander got to his house the more his shoulders slumped and the less confident he seemed. I've read lots of fics with this sort of theme (stalker!spike and abused!xander), but this one there was specifically a part where Spike made that observation.
Can anyone help me out?
