Spander: Giants... The Newspaper Said So!

Okay, so this isn't fic, but by golly, there was a headline!  In the newspaper!  And it said Spander!  It must be true that Spander are (is?) Giants, since it was in the SF Examiner.  It was a headline, even.  Okay, sure, the paper endorsed McCain/Palin, but the paper is free.
