Human AU
Xander and Angel/Angelus/Liam used to be together. It was a bad or abusive relationship. Spike meets Xander after the heart break (or running for his life...whatever) and tries to pick up the pieces, teach him to trust/love again, etc. etc.
Bonus points if Angel(us) is still in love with, obsessed with, stalking Xander.
I've seen plenty of these where A is Spike's ex but (good as they are) that's not what I want. I checked h/c at Spanderfiles but can't really find what I want.
