There's another one I was looking for but ince writing the first paragraph I've forgotten the details completely.... :-S
ETA: I remembered it!! Xander's dad sells him to some demons and he's sort of giving off 'come get me vibes' to demons. He and Spike get it on and bond/claim but the demons still want Xander. In the end his Dad ends up going in his place.
