Summary: HAU. This is the third and final installment in the Hang Ten trilogy. It is three
years from the carefree summer of 1965 and two years since Xander was drafted into the
army and sent overseas. He has fought for his life and seen the worst of the war in the
jungles of Viet Nam. Then, one day he and his best friend, Riley, are on a routine run to
retrieve a jeep from the jungle when they hit a land mine. Riley is killed and Xander is
seriously wounded. After an extended stay in the hospital in Saigon, Xander is sent
home to where Spike has been waiting.
Is love and devotion enough to bring Xander back to himself or has the war claimed
