Hi all! Im looking for fics where Xander gets abilities. It doesn't matter what abilities or where they come from (natural abilities, hyena, whatever). I like longer milti chap fics (as long as they keep my attention lol). I like them complete but it doesn't have to be as long as it's updated regularly. There are no squicks to... squicky?... for me so im open to any and all squick levels. Thanks For The Help, Broodus
Touched by Cas is great. Xander gets a super power and Spike is apparently the only one who can deal with it. As in: "We need someone unbreakable to go, and I can’t do it right now, so it’s you.”
I'm a little uncomfortable rec-ing my own story, but it fits your requirements for a long, multi-chapter, souped up Xander story perfectly, so I figured... what the hell.
As I said, it's a WIP, but I post every week on Sunday or Monday, depending on the availability of my Beta. The story is gearing up for the big finale, but then there will be some time spent resolving issues that came up over the course of the story. There are 10 more chapters in the outline, but sometimes things don't go exactly to plan, so if not 10, no more than 12, I think.
The specific lists that come to mind are:
Beastie Boy Xan is a list stories with the boy as a vamp, hyena or very occasionally a wolf.
Xander Plus or Minus has a small section of souped up Xander. It's only a small section, but I can recommend all the stories there.
I hope between the two lists you find something or multiple somethings to suit your mood! *g*
BTW, I haven't checked some of these links for a while, so if you find any that don't work any more, please let me know.

I'm currently writing a souped up Xander fic called Xandercles the Mighty. Here's a link to the LJ version. I also post at Archive of Our Own here. Personally, I think the AO3 version is easier to navigate, but some prefer to stay on LJ. Up to you, of course.
