Spike with the Gem of Amara

Hi there... I'm hoping someone can help me find a fic with very little details remembered... The only think I remember is that Spike and Xander are together (bonded?) and someone (Angel?) lets Spike have the Gem of Amara so he can protect Xander during the day as well. They have sex on a beach?

Yes, not much to go on... but I have faith someone will recognize this!!
